In light of Thanksgiving—a holiday dedicated to gratitude, generosity, and community.​ Pages of Peace chose to give thanks by giving books.

 

We shared our appreciation for the often unseen yet essential role that 127 members of the general service staff play in our school community everyday; we delivered more than 480 books to over 184 of their children. Thanksgiving reminds us not only to be thankful for what we have but also to extend that gratitude through action, and with this initiative, we turned the spirit of the holiday into an opportunity to promote reading, learning, and hope.​
